Can I use Apple Pay or Google Pay to donate?
Yes — in some cases! Our donation platform supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, but availability depends on your device and browser:Apple Pay is available on Safari and works best on mobile devices with Apple Wallet enabled. It will not appear in the embedded donation form on our website due to Apple’s restrictions — click here to open our full donation page where Apple Pay is supported.
Google Pay may appear in the embedded form if you're using Chrome, are signed into your Google account, and have Google Pay set up. This also works best on mobile.
If your preferred payment method isn’t showing, try opening the full donation page in a supported browser or device.

There are a few easy steps to donate a vehicle to MFS via Volunteers of America.
First, you would need to fill out the online form that can be found at voaor.org.
There, you can designate Metropolitan Family Service to receive 50% of the proceeds.
Second, VOA will request a copy of the signed title. The tow company will contact you to set up a day and time to have your vehicle towed to the auction. Volunteers of America will sell the vehicle at the highest price possible and split the proceeds with us. -
If you’re age 70½ or older, you may be eligible to donate directly from your IRA using a Qualified Charitable Distribution. This can be a tax-smart way to support MFS while satisfying your required minimum distribution (RMD).
To make a QCD gift, ask your IRA provider to include your name and preferred fund designation with the check. Checks should be mailed to:
