AmeriCorps Program Sunsets at MFS Following Statewide Termination
MFS has faced significant challenges that prevent us from operating the Americorps program as intended. We have sunsetted this longstanding and impactful program due to the State AmeriCorps program termination by the current administration on April 25, 2025.
We appreciate the essential roles that our members have played in expanding activities, building capacity, and strengthening all MFS programs for over 15 years. We are grateful for all of our AmeriCorps members who have served our community.

MFS RSG! Home Visiting Program Advocates for Families in Washington, D.C.
The RSG! Home Visiting team recently traveled to Washington, D.C. to participate in the Start Early National Home Visiting Summit and advocate for Oregon families. During the visit, they met with District 3 Representative Congresswoman Maxine Dexter to share success stories and discuss the vital role of home visiting programs in supporting maternal and child health, school readiness, and family well-being.
