At Metropolitan Family Service, we believe that preparing for kindergarten isn’t just about school readiness—it’s about building confidence, joy, and connection. Through our partnership with NCSD, Ready, Set, Go! brings parents and caregivers into the classroom alongside their 3- and 4-year-olds to learn, play, and grow together.

As NCSD shared:

“A good start can make all the difference. At NCSD’s Wichita Center for Family and Community, parents/caregivers learn side-by-side with their 3- and 4-year-olds as part of the Ready Set Go! preschool program, an NCSD partnership with Metropolitan Family Services. This week, Dr. James visits with three of this program’s leaders, whose wonderful work brings smiles to families and helps kids gain confidence before enrolling in NCSD schools.”

We’re proud of the warmth, care, and creativity our staff bring into the classroom every day—and we’re grateful to our partners at NCSD for helping lift up the power of early learning, family engagement, and community-rooted support.
