Joe joined the MFS Board in April of 2023. Joe has served on the board of several not for profits. Most recently at Places for People in St Louis MO. There he chaired several committees (Total Quality Improvement and Development), he also served as VP and President. As President he oversaw a major capital campaign that allowed PfP to move into a new building and double the number of clients they could serve.

Throughout his career, Joe has focused on leading transformational change at large, Global enterprises. He has a long track record of finding areas for improvement and then delivering on those improvements. Currently, Joe is employed at Amazon Web Services and leads one of their Global Training Programs.

Joe grew up in the Bay Area of California, and graduated from Sonoma State and earned his MBA from Maryville U in St Louis. Both of Joe's kids live in the Dallas TX area but love visiting here in the PNW.

In his spare time, Joe likes to spend weekends in Manzanita, or playing golf, tennis and pickleball when he and his partner are not traveling, diving and hiking all around the world.
