Sheema Shariat was born in Iran and raised in New Zealand. Reflecting her commitment to understanding and contributing to societal well-being she pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Massey University.

Having served as a nonprofit program director in Portland, Sheema's dedication to community welfare was evident. However, embracing an entrepreneurial spirit, she transitioned to small business and now runs her own coffee shop and roaster in Sellwood, Portland.

Balancing professional endeavors with profound personal commitments, Sheema is a full-time mom to two children. Her multifaceted journey is a testament to resilience, education, and a deep-seated passion for both community impact and family life.
