Devon Trux is Vice President, Community Affairs & Business Operations at Brown & Brown, a leading insurance brokerage firm delivering risk management solutions to individuals and businesses. Devon manages the company’s community engagement, internal and external communications and events, internal teammate engagement and overall operations out of the Portland, Oregon office. Her career path has wound in and out of the for- and non-profit worlds, with experience focused on communications, event/meeting management and program and people management.

Internally at Brown & Brown, Devon is a founding Communications Lead for the enterprise-wide women’s teammate resource group, The Power of She, a group that has grown to more than 500 members since it launched in mid-2022. Devon has also been a board member for Metropolitan Family Service since March 2022.

Devon has a degree in Communication from UC, Davis. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling with her family, rock climbing and curling up with a good book.
