Karin Holsinger (she/her)

The Standard

Karin started at The Standard in 2010 as director of business finance in Retirement Plans before moving to Employee Benefits to lead the Business Finance and operations teams. In 2019, Karin moved to Corporate Finance and Accounting where she supported change management for an ERP implementation. In 2020, Karin transitioned into a senior director role where she was responsible for overseeing the Finance Transformation and operations teams, including Financial Systems and Innovations, Payroll and Quality Assurance functions.

In Karin’s most recent role as second vice president, chief of staff in Corporate Finance and Accounting, she has taken on additional responsibilities related to the facilitation and development of the division strategy. She is responsible for leading division improvement goals, overseeing and managing key sourcing vendors, and serving as a consultant and advisor to the Corporate Finance and Accounting executive team.

Prior to joining The Standard, Karin worked nearly 20 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Cambia Health Solutions, where she held various finance and accounting leadership roles. She graduated from Linfield University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. For more than 20 years, Karin has volunteered with SMART, or Start Making a Reader Today, served on the SMART board for eight years and is currently on the advisory board for Avenue Agency.
